Masilo has over 5 years of experience as an admitted attorney. From 2008 to 2010, Masilo served Articles of Clerkship at Norton Rose Fulbright (formerly Deneys Reitz Attorneys). He was admitted as an attorney of the High Court in 2010. In the same year, Fisha was appointed at Makhafola & Verster Attorneys as a Professional Assistant where he dealt with Litigation and Employment and Labour Law Disputes. Between 2010 and 2011, he joined Summit Financial Partners as an in-house attorney and focused on debt review. In early 2011, he joined Mchunu Attorneys as an Associate and worked closely with the Senior Partner in commercial and litigation matters. In 2012, Masilo was promoted to Senior Associate and continued to advise and represent both public and private clients in commercial and litigation matters.
Over the years in practice, Masilo has acquired experience in various fields of law which include commercial litigation, review, drafting and negotiation of various commercial agreements, due diligence investigations, labour law, insurance litigation, general corporate and commercial law, corporate governance, procurement law, regulatory and administrative law. He advises a broad range of clients in both the public and private sectors. Masilo is currently part of teams advising on various unrelated disputes dealing with construction matters arising out of the ECC NEC3 contract form, in one matter acting on behalf of the employer, a parastatal operating in the electricity supply industry among others, and acting also on behalf of the employer in another dispute, such employer being a super major operating in the oil and gas industry.
