Langelihle has represented clients before various regulatory bodies such as the BBBEE Commission, Competition Tribunal, Parliament, the Information Regulator and the South African Civil Aviation Authority.

Thabile Fuhrmann is a practicing attorney with 29 years PQE, with areas of focus in Insolvency Law and all aspects under Chapter 6 of the Companies Act 71 of 2008 (Business Rescue, Compromises and Restructuring), Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), more specifically adjudication, mediation and arbitration. Her experience is, inter alia, in the fields of commercial litigation, insolvency law, administrative law, public procurement law, energy law, environmental law, municipal law, commercial law, insurance law etc. Thabile Fuhrmann is the former chairperson of Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr (CDH) and was a senior director in the firm’s Dispute Resolution department for a period of 12 years (January 2012 until March 2024). Prior to joining CDH, Thabile founded her own independent law firm, Thabile Fuhrmann & Associates Inc (TFA), having previously practised in partnership under the name and style of Knight Thabile Fuhrmann until August 2004 when the partnership dissolved. Upon dissolution of the partnership, she practiced for her own account until December 2011. After joining and practicing as a director at CDH, she was appointed chairperson in April 2018, a position she occupied for a period of 4 years until 31 March 2022.

She has over 20 years’ experience in the property industry. Cynthia has advised various clients in the Public and Private Sectors including Eskom, Airports Company SA, Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa, Small Enterprise Finance Agency and Magalies Water. Cynthia’s area of practice includes the registration of transfers, mortgage bonds, notarial bonds, servitudes, consolidations, subdivisions, street closures, trusts and long leases. She provides advice and opinion on property related matters and attends to objections and appeals against municipal valuation of properties. She is currently assisting Mchunu Attorneys with property related matters for the City of Johannesburg.
